HKUGA Policy Group Lunch (9/1 Tuesday) – The Lesson of Star Ferry Clock Tower
There has been unexpected public sentiment against the demolition of the Star Ferry Clock Tower, which is part of the Central reclaimation works in progress. It is envisaged that this sentiment could develop further in the subsequent demolition of the Queen's Pier, particularly if the Government could not handle the sentiment properly.
The coming monthly lunch gathering of the Policy Group would be an informal chat around this very hot issue of the city. Our primary interest would be the lesson on governance and public communication. Please join the lunch and enjoy the free chat!
