About the Topic

On 13th July 2009, Microsoft announced that they will offer the online version of

their all-time best seller Microsoft Office free of charge by 2010.  It is

believed that such is a fight back against Google Docs, which is penetrating

the corporate market as online access is omnipresent and cloud computing

is on the rise.  Can the king of the web challenge the almighty software giant?

Is the battlefield changing from the desktop to the Internet?  The speaker

will share his viewpoints about the history and predictions of these two

legendary companies.
