穿梭音樂世界

學習樂器不單是為了應付學校的要求,更是林行止大力推崇的終身良伴-消遣自娛遣的好辦法。但不少家在為孩子選擇一生一體一藝時,都以“人有我有”或者“就手”的方法選擇音樂,結果孩子容易失去興趣,家長也在催促孩子練習時容易彼此發生摩擦,有傷親情。因此我們希望透過此"穿梭音樂世界"的活動,協助家長及孩子們認識音樂。

 

課程目標:透過互動音樂活動,以及欣賞不同國家民族的樂曲風格,探索和瞭解不同音樂風格和其文化背景,有助自我人生歷練的成長。在此,我們期望能與學員思考學習音樂後的價值觀範式轉移(paradigm shift)。集體活動主要以遊戲,帶出音樂選擇、聆聽及創意想像的重要性。

 

第一日:主題國家:德國。在音樂王國德國長大的小孩是如何學習創作及演奏音樂呢?

以古典作曲家貝多芬及馬勒的音樂做例子,亦找出香港小孩比較熟悉的廣東兒歌,一起欣賞來自德國和香港這些音樂的分別。導師和小朋友們並以這來自兩個截然不同文化背景的音樂素材,創作我們自己的演奏版本,反映出不同語言及文化對音樂的影響。

 

第二日:從傳統到流行曲,怎樣去玩好一首歌?

什麼叫做玩得好音樂呢?怎樣才是有音樂感呢?大膽去發掘一些不同類型音樂,如廣東粵曲,七十年代粵語流行曲,比較一下我們學鋼琴小提琴,所要求的不同音樂學習方式。

 

每班學生:10 20人(額滿即止)

講者葉劍豪博士, 音樂總監及音樂教育學者。於2011年應德國柏林自由大學邀請,在其國際研究中心當訪問學人。他亦曽在蘇格蘭愛丁堡大學的音樂系任教。葉博士延續他在英國及德國的音樂教育活動,在香港創辦音樂組織「天空地圖」。

 

 

Travelling the world of music

 

Program Aim: Through interactive musical activities and a wide variety of musical examples, identify the values of learning music, self-growth through understanding others' cultures. Games and group activities emphasize the importance of listening and creative thinking.

 

Day 1: Germany - how do kids in Germany think about music, composing and performing?

Using classical musical examples by Beethoven, Mahler, and cantonese songs pupils will re-create our own composition and look into the differences in languages, and cultures of music learning in Germany and in Hong Kong

 

Day 2: Traditional and pop - how do we make music in an ensemble? Using musical examples from traditional chinese opera, pop songs from 70s, we shall find out what is the idea of good musicianship in different kinds of musical styles.

 

Lecturer: Dr. Kimho IP

Musical curator and educationalist. In 2011 he was invited to be Research Fellow at the International Research Centre, Interweaving Performance Culture, of the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. He also teaches the Music in the Community master degree programme at the University of Edinburgh. Dr. Ip brings his music programme to Hong Kong with his company, Skymap and Rainbow, a continuation of his projects in the UK and Germany. More than 30 schools in Scotland have joined the inter-cultural music programme led by Dr. Ip during the past 5 years.
