Dear HKUGA members,

This year marked our 38th anniversary and we will be having the Annual Dinner on 20 Sep 2014 (Sat).  Old folks and new friends will come together again to share their stories and visions.  It is our tradition to give to each of the guests the nicely made HKUGA Annual Journal which contains

-

Articles by VIP, shakers & movers of Hong Kong, giving insights from various horizons, covering both social & economic issues of the SAR, China & the world

-

Articles by senior HKUGA members, offering their thoughtful views on moving HKUGA forward

-

Articles by HKUGA exco and review of past activities

The Annual Journal will be well kept and read by all the guests.  We will also give it away to speakers and guests of honour for our activities.  Whether you have been graduated for years or still an undergrad, there must be some stories, or view that you would like to share.  We therefore sincerely invite you to submit an article for the coming Annual Journal.

This year Hong Kong is facing more challenges, apart from the soaring prices of housing and commodity, increasing cultural diversity of the population, the issue of “Occupy Central” has also raised heated discussions and political movements.  Where should Hong Kong be going?  What our future is like?  Thus, for this year, the theme is : Future of Hong Kong / 香港的未來

If possible, it would be best if your article could relate to this year’s theme.  There is no restriction on nature of your article.  It could be about your work, personal experience, or viewpoints about happenings of world.  It is however suggested the article, including photos & pictures, be around 1 to 3 pages.  Submission deadline is 24 Aug 2014 (Sun).

Please contact Victor Tsang at 9353 5350, or email at victor.tsang@ntt.com.hk for submission of articles or any enquiries.

Thanks and looking forward to hear about your story & viewpoint.

Executive Committee, HKUGA
