Introduction

In the past few years, the committee has arranged a number of seminars and internal discussion forums for the members. Especially after the 1st July, 1997, representatives from DABHK, HKDP and One country Two system Research Institute were invited respectively to join our different seminars. Some international affairs such as the American invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq were also the topics for discussion. With independent, constructive and tolerant attitudes, professional views and critical mind, we hope to make a more positive contribution to our mother country and Hong Kong.

Objective

This Sub-committee provides a platform for members to know more about current issues by inviting major players to speak in seminars and to initiate discussions among ourselves to fulfill our responsibility as citizens of society.
