The Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir (Ex-SSPSR) was accorded a Grade 1 historical building status by the Antiquities Advisory Board in June 2021. This guided tour to enhance public's understanding of the historical background and appreciate the internal structure of the Ex-SSPSR, so as to increase public’s awareness on conservation of historic waterworks buildings and heritage.

Assembly Time  : 3:20 p.m. at Berwick Street (巴域街)

Consent

1. Data that provided by you in this form (i.e. name, age and identification document data), will be shared with the Water Supplies Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
2. The Water Supplies Department, who will hold this guided tour, requires accurate data. Any incomplete, insufficient or incorrect data may affect the processing time and result of application.

Notes

1. Participants must be at least 8 years old at the time of Visit. In addition, participants are not allowed to enter the Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir with infants.
2. Participants who are accepted to join this event are required to attend the event. As participants' data will be sent to the Water Supplies Department.
3. Participants who are accepted to join this event will receive an email confirmation and further information of the event.
4. Participants who are accepted to join this event may consider purchasing insurance that related to this guided tour on their own.
5. Participants shall arrange their own transport to reach / leave the assembly / dismissal point.
6. The route between the assembly / dismissal point and the Ex-SSPSR takes a walk of about 15 minutes. It consists of mainly narrow trails and stairs and certain efforts will be required. Applicants should assess their own as well as their participants’ health conditions and consider whether it is necessary to be accompanied and assisted by care takers before making application for the guided tour.
